At XDB we work with loving care to produce really superior pistols. All our components are quality controlled at least at 3 different levels. Even when ordering a spare or replacement, will trigger a tracking process to the individual Serial Number, to make sure the end user will enjoy the original quality for decades.

In the left family picture, some of the unique Rapax finishes: the Black Nickel for instance, is a hardwearing, very attractive finish, while being visible during sport shooting as well. XDB offers the end user the option to combine different finishes, to create unique pistols as in a Custom Shop.

INTERCHANGEABLE GRIP INSERT

All the Rapax Pistols, Sport, Tactical or 2 version, come with a double-rail, self locking Grip Insert, machined out of a solid Ergal 7075 aerospace Alloy billet. The end user can choose from the Slim Standard or the Magnum versions.

PICATINNY STANDARD RAIL

The Rapax Tactical and Rapax 2 feature a Picatinny Standard Rail, to couple with most Tactical Torches, Laser Pointers and many other accessories.

BEVELED MAGAZINE GRIP WELL

In the photo above, the well enhanced Magazine Well, machined integrally to the Ergal 7075 Rapax grip.

AIR-LOCK FLOATING CARRY CASE

All the Rapax line of pistols are delivered with a sturdy, air-tight and floatable carry case. The case features a collapsible handle for easy, multiple Law Enforcement stackable option, on top of the Air-Lock System and double padlock hooks. The Rapax carry case can accommodate up to 3 magazines and 1 Suppressor.

ADJUSTABLE REAR SIGHT

The Rapax Sport bears as standard an LPA rear adjustable sight. The rear adjustbale sight is coupled with a green, optic fiber dot front sight.

REAR 3-FUNCTION SLIDE PLATE

The Rear Slide Plate of the Rapax, offers 3 distinct functions: serrations for emergency slide control during operations, tactile-visual firing pin check and ejector guiderod holder.

FIBER OPTIC FRONT SIGHT

In the photo above, the Optic Fiber green Sight: the advanced design features lightweight, thanks to a transversal hole which cuts the weight of about 30%, avoiding loosening of the sight positioning screw, even after thousands of rounds.

DIAMOND LIKE CARBON

DLC is an innovative multipurpose coating that exploits two chemical properties of Carbon: the typical hardness of diamond (hence the name Diamond Like Carbon) and the ease of flow of graphite. Thanks to this combination of properties exceptional, it is the high-tech coating based Carbon with the highest performance for the most exclusive Rapax Pistols. The DLC is available upon request for Slide, Barrel, Underbarrel, Firing Pin and Sear.

SPECIAL CONFIGURATIONS


The Rapax Tactical offers a unique feature: the conversion to a real Carbine, by implementing the 300 mm (12 Inch.) barrel, available in both threaded and plain versions. This feature turns a pistol, 400 Mt.Sec 9mm velocity configuration, to a 500 Mt.Sec. 9mm velocity configuration in under one minute. The ERP (Extended Range Pistol) platform, with Fab Defence Roni attachment, offers true accuracy and effectiveness up to 200 metres.

The Rapax ERP comes with a hard carry case, with 2 standard, 17 rounds magazines and 2-20 rounds increased capacity magazines, Tactical Sling and long bore cleaning kit. The Rapax Tactical can also be implemented with the ERP without the use of the long, 300 mm barrel, working, for instance, at very close quarter combat with folded stock.

MODULAR SUPPRESSOR


XDB offers the Rapax Tactical and Rapax 2 “Compact” with an impressive line of modular Suppressors, for any caliber in use with the pistol. This line of suppressors allows change in overall dimension, being built with modules which can be added at leisure, according to caliber and projectile in use.

The XDB Suppressors have a spring-loaded movable rear end and a flash-hides-compensator front crown, becoming very effective under a number of sensitive uses. Colours and surface finishes of the Suppressors can also accommodate for the main weapon colours and finishes.

Never in the history of sporting small arms, a brand new patented locking system has been winning from day 1 like for the Rapax Sport. Over 100 Gold Medals on a little more than 100 National level IPSC Matches have been taken in 3 years prior to world launch and marketing of the pistol.

Davide Indizio has been the first IPSC World Class shooter to take the Rapax to the highest step of a National Podium, winning the Optic Division 2021 Italian Championship.
